Create wstETH Supercharged Pools

This proposal would create two new Supercharged Liquidity pools.

  • stETH/ETH 0.05% Spread
  • stETH/ETH 0.01% Spread

Background

During the rollout period, the creation of Supercharged Liquidity pools is permissioned by governance as established in Proposal 532.

Choice of Pools

wstETH is the dominant Ethereum liquid staking solution across DeFi, and so a second, lower spread factor pool is being established as this will be able to support higher volumes.

wstETH is a liquid staked token originating from Ethereum and so will be paired with unstaked ETH.

The Neutron bridge is now live for transfer at bridge.neutron.org and Osmosis is voting to make this route, supported by Lido, the canonical version of wstETH on Osmosis in Proposal 626

Target On-chain date: 18th September 2023

Will the pools be wstETH/ETH? Or stETH/ETH?

For the rest; since we have pools for people to swap from the wrapped/staked asset to the “normal” asset, this seems a logical step.
