As many Cosmos users trade through Osmosis, I think it would be beneficial to have a token price and transaction API built into the application.
Websites like CoinGecko charge large amounts to pull information from their data servers, and Osmosis, as one of the most liquid exchanges in the ecosystem, is in a unique position to provide users with this data. It could also provide revenue and outstanding amounts in pools.
I think this could be an incredibly lucrative avenue and, using the existing blockchain technology, it can be done to an extremely precise and organised degree (by data pulled etc).
Aside from the monetary aspect this would also show that Osmosis is aware of regulation compliance and user experience as later additions could convert transactions to their fiat equivalents, calculate taxes etc.
