If not a merger, then what?

Long time lurker here, just made an account because this debate finally pulled me in enough to actually say something.

The no votes make sense to me. Osmosis has real value and identity worth keeping. But I keep scrolling waiting for someone to answer the obvious follow up and it’s not coming. If not a merger, then what’s the actual plan to bring serious capital in?

Because I don’t think it’s a governance problem. I think it’s a visibility problem. Institutional desks won’t LP somewhere every competitor can watch their positions in real time. Moving the modules to the Cosmos Hub doesn’t change that, the trades are still fully public.

I’m Milky, I run a small chain called HYVE that we’ve built as a confidential execution layer with Namada MASP, running on IBC v2. We’ve actually been building toward Osmosis integration specifically because we think this is the gap. Execute against Osmosis liquidity with optional privacy, settle via IBC, no merger needed.

Anyway not trying to make this about HYVE, genuinely just frustrated that the “no” camp doesn’t seem to have an alternative on the table yet. Has confidential execution ever been seriously discussed here as a direction? Feels like the missing piece to me.
