BTC deposit via Nomic bridge stuck for 6 days — IBC packet appears unrelayed

Hello, I’m reporting a stuck Bitcoin deposit via the Nomic bridge integration on app.osmosis.zone, and I’d appreciate any visibility from the team or community.

Deposit details

  • Date/time of BTC tx confirmation: 2026-05-03, 03:11 UTC
  • BTC tx hash (deposit): 71297c6ad5632df67d4ba7bf16b1ee23e72d923a7eed073980a6ccd2af4ba6e5
  • Block: 947677
  • Confirmations: 40+
  • Amount: 0.00693033 BTC (~$540)
  • Deposit address shown in Osmosis UI: bc1qwgx6k…3uwtz
  • Receiving address (visible on mempool.space): bc1qhhmeyr6v7aapc6gr4edekzc24yund5hrctevll8haksm6fuchhfsa2nv0w
  • Destination Osmosis address: osmo17pfj6cvy2xl390qfj35wqdejzzpjc79q2vtzjt
  • Expected token: allBTC (Alloyed BTC)
  • Status in Osmosis UI: “Deposit successful / Transaction details”
  • Reality: No allBTC credited after 6 days. Mintscan shows only my pre-existing OSMO balance.

Likely checkpoint observed

A subsequent BTC tx hash bbfbb6dfdd9dc9dba582db84c7877c5cfeaec8b25d43bd41a1d4dac7020e78ce (2026-05-03 ~04:00 UTC, 49 minutes after my deposit) shows the Nomic reserve address bc1qhhmeyr… as input (spending 0.007 BTC, very close to my deposit amount), with output to a new consolidated reserve bc1q43rrkldq6ve9wrmkhf5yd7a487g464cq9el982v7stt65wd5t7jsadfr46 (2.13657534 BTC).

This timing and structure are consistent with a Nomic checkpoint sweeping my deposit into the consolidated reserve. If that’s correct, nBTC should have been minted on Nomic with my Osmosis address as the IBC destination, but the IBC packet appears to never have been relayed to Osmosis.

What I’ve tried

  • Opened a ticket at support.osmosis.zone (no response yet)
  • Avoided Discord (multiple impersonation accounts asking me to run commands / join other servers — all declined)

Questions for the team

  1. Is the Nomic->Osmosis IBC channel currently being relayed normally?
  2. Can someone check if there’s a pending IBC packet for my destination address osmo17pfj6cvy2xl390qfj35wqdejzzpjc79q2vtzjt?
  3. If the packet exists but is stuck, can a Hermes relayer be instructed to clear it?
  4. Was there any incident with the Nomic bridge or relayer infrastructure between May 3-5, 2026 that could explain this?

Thank you for any help.
