Yeah, I am kinda afraid of the confusion caused if canonical asset is switched “too fast”. Especially if we are only looking at a timespan of a mere few weeks before MultiAsset and Transmuter kick in… then we have a lot to lose and a very little to gain.

Which is in general a marker to not do something and work hard on getting the other stuff done to fix it properly.

It looks like they adjusted the original post to reflect Johnny’s updated language about the canonical assets.

I see. I guess this will also have to be combined with a warning message on the front-end somewhere to avoid confusing people.
