# Have borrow function like on aave

It would be nice to be able to put both Atom and Osmo as collateral to be able to do something else with the loan, this has worked well for the importance of Aave, maybe it will also do good for Osmosis

Similar functionality to Aave is available on Osmosis though a couple of apps,
[Mars](https://mars.osmosis.zone/) does lending/borrowing similar to Aave, while
[Membrane](https://cdt.money/) focuses more on a basket of assets that back a stablecoin.
There is also [Nolus](https://app.nolus.io/) for borrowing for deliberate leverage and several other interchain applications that accept ATOM and OSMO as deposits.
